Question! If I place 10 individual orders through the Ibotta app lets say to Walgreens will that count as 10 offers? each transaction is an offer?
Pretty sure the bonuses will only count offers added from retailers, not just orders made through the retailer in general. I haven't tried this personally, curious if maybe @mmoore01 or @Rickibotta know.
Well I just placed 2 small orders at Wags through Ibotto to see. this would be a game changer for me as I have no big stores near me 😞
From my experience, placing two or more orders on the same day seem to only count as 1. However, you can place an order every day and get the Ibotta rebate on each.
Please note the restrictions for each store. Walgreens says this:
• Cash back is NOT valid: - On orders placed using select coupons, promo codes or discounts - On the purchase of gift cards - If an order is canceled, returned or exchanged - On Pharmacy, Prescription Savings Card, Household, Diet & Fitness, or Grocery
You will get credit pretty quick, but two months later it will be reversed and any bonuses will be reversed, too.
I still don't even understand OPQ.
What was ordered? A gift card or an item there is an offer for? Is it ordered thru chrome extension? I guess not since ordering thru app was mentioned.
If this about gift cards, then I agree with mmoore01. I thought there was a limit of 1 gift card per store per day. I will defer to him on GC questions since I have never done them.
I am not familiar with OPQ. What does this abbreviation mean?
Gift cards - Are you talking about buying gift cards at Walgreens or buying Gift Cards in Ibotta? The only limit on gift cards bought through Ibotta is $250 per day. You can buy as many as you want as long as you don't go over that limit.
In my case, the restrictions for Walgreens changed and I did not notice it. Always check the details before placing an order online. I had purchased cereal, which is Grocery. I also purchased laundry detergent, which is Household.
Items like prescriptions and gift cards make a lot of sense. But Grocery and Household items are ones that are usually on sale at Walgreens. I guess it makes sense since they probably don't make money on these items. I will just have to go to Walgreens in person if I want to get those items.
OPQ = original posters question
My prior post was just mentioning I was not clear at all what OP was asking.
I was saying that I thought if you bought 5 WAGS GCs in one day, it would only count as one offer.
Am I correct?
If you buy five gift cards from the same retailer in Ibotta on the same day, it counts as 5 counts towards bonuses. You just can't go over $250 total for the day.
As for buying Walgreens Gift Cards, that is not an option in Ibotta.
Woo-hoo. Good 2 know.. Do they have 2 b big amounts, or can they b $5. And do denominations vary by retailer?
The minimum amounts do vary by retailer, but I think it really depends on the percentage earned. For example, Walmart only earns 0.5%, so if the minimum was $5.00, you would only earn 2.5 cents. So, they make the minimum $10.00 and you earn $.05. Not much, but better than nothing.
Now, when you buy a Krispy Kreme gift card, you earn 9% back, so the minimum amount is $5.00. You would earn $.45. Fazoli's earns 10%, but we don't have a Fazoli's here any more.
