I completely agree with you I believe that kindness and hope were the only things that got me through a terribly abusive marriage I don’t want to be bitter and I still believe that most people are good. I also know that showing a stranger kindness can mean so much more to them then you would have ever thought. There is so much ugliness in this world and I really prefer to brighten peoples days rather than darkening them.
