Mine was $1 for 15. I don't understand the disparity. Also sometimes some people get certain offers that others don't get like the fresh cravings one. Or the Easter eggs promo they did. It should be same across the board.
I love Ibotta but could love it more if I didn't hear of offers that are vastly different than what I'm offered.
The model is necessary. They have to do bonuses like $1 for one offer or $3 for 2 offers to new users to entice them. Many high-volume people still end up doing the 20 offers for $1 or worse because they are simultaneously completing other bonuses and it makes sense to them. ibotta must track a rolling average of offers completed for users, so if they know a person does 30 to 50 offers a month, they don't need to entice them as much with lower bonus thresholds
I personally don't really set out to complete most bonuses right off the bat. It is a factor of how many offers can I use buying things I really need, and what offers can I complete to get to the bonus. I rarely get bonuses now because I have stopped buying things like drinks, toothpaste, energy/protein bars, and many other things that I have perhaps 100 or more of. So I pretty much do maybe 15 or 20 offers a month that are moneymakers or for pennies. .
YMMV. Everyone obviously has their own strategy., and what works for one may not work for another.
I am sure some get so caught up in attaining a bonus that they 'overpay' for other things in the process.
But I hear ya.
@Caintl61 First of all Fresh Cravings& Eggos were not Ibotta deals! I see that you have been o a member of this Community for approximately 2 months. Your spending habits are tracked so basically the longer you use Ibotta , the more you shop& spend. the more you earn
You gave me creepy chills. As I read your post, I couldn't stop thinking of The Stepford Wives
