I’ve been reading several comments on Ibotta Facebook and there are so many disappointed people because they got a $1 weekend warrior. I got a $1 mid-week and a $1 weekend warrior. I know Ibotta mixes it up, but honestly many people comment they won’t bother. I’m assuming the more Ibotta promotes products and people buy, the more Ibotta makes. May be kind of weird, but I get excited to wake up and see my bonus on Monday and Thursday. I hold off shopping so I can fulfill my bonus. But when it’s only a $1 twice in a week, it’s really a bummer. I guess what I’m saying is I wish Ibotta would give a little more positive incentive to us shoppers. Times have been tough in the last year.
I can relate to this, I feel ya.
I would be the last person to know how they figure out the dollar and number of offers for a bonus. But it seems if you complete a bonus, then the next one is harder or has a smaller dollar amount.
When someone says they are not going to bother, then so be it. But they are actually hoping that the next bonus will be better since they ignored the smaller one.
It could also be time for a two-weekend bonus. It would be nice to have a $10 bonus for 50+ offers from now until the end of the month. Stacking bonuses are common.
I will admit that my Weekend Warrior Bonus of $1 for 8 offers doesn't seem worth it. But if I happen to shop and get 8 items without really trying, would I give up the $1.00 bonus? No.
I haven't left home yet today and I already have received credit for 3 rebates towards my 8 offers. I expect to have several more tomorrow morning. I am always happy to get $5 bonuses, but I won't refuse a $1 one, either.
I hear you loud and clear and would like to see the MWMM & WWB's rewards increased more often. Well when served lemons make lemonade. The more I use ibotta and read different forums I'm learning how to combine multiple bonuses worthwhile. Today my WWB was $1/10, prior to shopping today I needed 30 more items to complete level 2, I had 2 FAO, 4 products to complete extra bonuses, and I also used $23.00 in walgreens coupons and rewards. With that being said keep your head up and stack your bonuses in your favor.
Oh I agree with you completely! I did the same. Got my $1 bonus, got some free items and then submitted to other apps to get more credit.
I guess I just don’t understand how bonuses are given out. My mom gets $5 ones all the time. I get $1 or $2 all the time. She gets this $50,000 sweepstakes entry all the time (which counts towards items) and I have never ever gotten one. 🤷🏻♀️
