SOOO - IBotta sends an e-mail that they are taking my money because I have not downloaded in a while. Yet I have going back a year in regards to no longer accepting my stores receipts. Whose fault is that??? There only response was a lie because they will not accept the digital or printed receipts.
ibotta levies a $3.99 per month fee for accounts that have been inactive for over 6 months, including deactivated accounts. That fee continues each month until you hit zero.
If you are saying it has been over 6 months since you used ibotta, and it is because they would not let you redeem even one offer at all, and you have emails detailing this issue, you should open a ticket mentioning that, asking them to reverse all the monies they have taken away for dormancy fees.
Create a Help Desk ticket with the ibotta Care Team by visiting help.ibotta.com or by emailing accountsupport@ibotta.com
It may take 3 or 4 business days for them to get back to you.

I had no idea that Ibotta charged a fee if your account was inactive. Just out of curiosity, where would one find that information in the app? Thanks!
I was not aware of this either. I haven't used Ibotta in serval months and just getting back on. Guess I better hurry and get a rebate in! Woza!
Very helpful! Thank you!
How much are they taking?
