Ibotta Saver Community Terms of Service
Welcome to the Ibotta Saver Community (the “Community”).
The following Community Terms of Service, together with Ibotta’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Terms of Service”), are a legally binding contract between you and Ibotta regarding your use of the Ibotta Community, website, mobile applications, networks, and/or other related features or services (collectively, the "Service").
The following will not be tolerated and will result in your immediate removal from the Community:
- Posts that are abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
- Posts that are defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depict violence
- Hateful or discriminatory language regarding or specifically targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or political beliefs
- Links or comments containing sexually explicit material
- Violations of any intellectual property rights
- Posts that are fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful
- Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion
- Spam, link baiting or files containing viruses that could damage the operation of other people’s computers or mobile devices
- Posts that share deals or hacks that violate Ibotta Terms of Service or general coupon policies (this includes “glitching”)
- Commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations
By joining the Ibotta Saver Community, you grant Ibotta a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and/or sell and distribute any content that you may post in the Saver Community, including without limitation your name and/or likeness, and to incorporate such post in any form, medium or technology throughout the world, all without compensation to you. For this reason, do not post any content that you do not wish to license to Ibotta.
Please keep in mind that the Ibotta Saver Community has been created with the intention of allowing you to connect, communicate and build relationships with each other. We ask that you do not post commercial solicitations, attempt to sell to each other, or post referral links/incentives for other brands.
By joining the Ibotta Saver Community, you are creating user-generated content for Ibotta that may be used by Ibotta in email communications, social posts or other promotional marketing materials. Do not share anything about yourself in the Community you would not want re-shared or to see on social media. Don’t forget that the content you are reading is coming from other Savers like yourself. You’ll find lots of good advice and ideas, but some information may be wrong. Apply the same good judgement in the Community that you would anywhere on the Internet. Ibotta expressly disclaims any liability based on the accuracy or reliability of any posts within the Community posted by other savers.
Don’t post personal information - your own or anyone else’s - including contact information or any content that you received in one-to-one communications without the author’s consent. Don’t post anything that would violate any contractual agreements (copyright, trade secret or otherwise) or nondisclosure agreements to which you are a party. Ibotta expressly disclaims any liability based on the information posted by other savers to the Community.
Ibotta reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove any posts that do not adhere to these Terms of Service and/or to block or remove anyone who violates these guidelines, with or without notice . If Ibotta removes a post that violates these Terms of Service, an Ibotta administrator may provide the user with feedback as to why the post was removed; failure to adhere to Ibotta’s feedback on an ongoing basis may result in that user being blocked or removed from the Community.
