Not a fan of this. When you do this, you lose all of your app data, and sometimes that includes settings and other things. So I don't suggest deleting and reinstalling unless a last resort.
Of course it depends on the appvand what app data is included.
I hate the new format. I want my categories grouped together on one page. It is a serious downgrade to have to open a filter and clear/select options each time I want to see everything in a category. It's a waste of time and makes the app a hassle.
I don't understand the point of this update, as it was certainly NOT an upgrade. I've been using the app for years and only just signed up for the community today so I could see what was being done about this.
I can't recommend this app in its current format.
Me neither. The main issue is having to turn off the WM Link Account reminder again.
I am a bit indurate from losing files/settings from having to reinstall Windows multiple times years ago when it was less stable and not adopting cloud storage sooner for work files loss more than once.
* I saw "Team Rick" was eliminated last night. StP has a lot of gusto right now.
Shopped yesterday and didn’t even use Ibotta - just too inefficient and cumbersome.
woke up today and my categories are all back to normal!! Woohoo!!

Hello all, As many of you have seen the old category layout is back in the app. The team made the decision yesterday to rollback the V1 of filtering at this time. We greatly appreciate your feedback!
Thanks for the update. Please pass along that the current filtering process is one of the things that nearly everyone agrees on; it is one of our favorite things about the app. While others may still wish there was a way to reorder the tabs or remove some, etc., it is far and away superior to the 'revised' filtering.
This is sort of my space. We had a few contracts where we ended up removing the garbage filtering you just rolled back for our users. In most cases, the companies were sold on the new filtering system by being told what other big companies were already using it. At the end of the day, I don't know of any site that does filtering that way where the users don't complain about it nonstop.

And they just changed it again! We thought Ibotta heard us the first time they tried to change it. Please give us out filters back! We like to be able to tap each catogory at the top rather than click each filter or go back and forth. It was sooooo easy, only one page! And now it’s way more complicated! We can’t jump from categories without going through several steps. Please Please Please change it back!!!! 😭
