@Roxiesmom they did reverse the change, and they just changed it back again this week. 🙄 Made a few adjustments from last time, I’m assuming in attempts to make it better but it’s just as bad as the first time. I don’t know why they are even messing with after the backlash last time.

@AnnaL  the biggest complaint is this version takes us all longer to do everything. Rather than being able to switch back and forth between categories  quickly we have to go through several steps for each category change. Even the tabs you left at the top don’t flow into each other. You still have to go to the top to go to a new category. There may not be much feedback on here but the Facebook groups are going crazy.

@AnnaL  the filters are not helpful.  It’s just a jumble mess or random listings.  The category’s along the top were helpful and slide seamlessly from one category to another.  The new filters take way too long and you have to keep going back and forth to still just have a jumbled tangle of random offers. Finding any offer to scan to verify in the store takes too long, or is that it, you want us in the store longer?

I am on an Android phone and still have the old format.  My understanding is that this was rolled out only to Apple iPhone users.

Since Apple only has about 13% of the cellphone market, I suspect a lot more people will complain when it hits Android (87% of the market).

If Ibotta cares about their users, they need to explain why they are going to this new format.  Losing customers should not be an option.  If anything, they need to make it easier, not harder.  Then put the money into fixing the things that aren't working, like linking accounts and getting back exactly what we should.  It surprises me every time I submit a receipt and something doesn't get credited.  I have problems with Target receipts taking too long to pay out and now I am having delays with Walmart receipts.

Fix these first, then think about adding new features..

A couple months ago it was changed for Android also. I have Android and it was horrible. I made the original post. 

I don't think I'll be doing any updates in fear of the format reverting.

Honestly, I’m not sure what the point is of having a Beta testing group when these updates get released to everyone on iOS. That’s not how beta testing should work. If anything, it should also include a group of Android users as well. But since the majority of comments here and elsewhere have been negative about this change, maybe the Android users should consider themselves lucky.
