From Wisconsin, the Badger State, and it’s nice to meet everyone!
OH (the buckeye state)
@cweiner31 How dare you?!? That man does not get to rename a bridge after himself. Nope, it’s the Tappan Zee, you’re just confused from being in BK for to long. 🤣 Kings county playing tricks on you even after you moved out to CT.
Don't you mean THE buckeye state?
Mobile Alabama and still live here currently
@Sorensoj: Wisconsin is The BADGER State? That comes as a surprise to me. I had assumed it was The Cheese State. Wisconsin Cheese is the best!
@What-Shot we definitely are the cheese state too 🧀. We make the best and tastiest cheeses in the country! Minnesota nicknamed us “cheeseheads” and we proudly roll with that term of endearment!
I had always told that it was Illinois that dubbed Wisconsin folk 'cheeseheads'.
If it were Minnesota, they surely would have said, ' you all are a bunch of cheeseheads, eh.
@Rickibotta word on the street was that it was either Minnesota or Illinois that coined the term cheesehead. Interestingly, the term appeared during a pro football game where much smack talk was flying through the air. Needless to say, the Packers crushed the opposition and gained a new moniker. It was a win, all around.
I live in Kirtland, OH. It’s a small rural town, a little south east of Cleveland.
