I am from the Lonestar state.....Texas. 

Not all that it is cracked up to be. I travel a lot and have found a lot of places and people that do not coupon or take advantage of the digitals from stores. No matter where I go, I am akways on the lookout for a deal.

@wendyragan1973 Corsicana is a pretty cool place, somewhere between a mini-metropolis and small town. 

Waco, not too far west, is growing like crazy, and ditto with the Temple-Belton-Killeen-Copperas Cove cluster, Midlothian (opened a 2nd high school, Heritage, in 2008, I think) and Red Oak, which had a 600% population explosion in 2010

@ekayg1  I’m the same way - or at least I used to be when I was traveling before the pandemic. I always checked for local deals and optimized them with my credit card offers whenever possible. I also made sure I used all offers from my company credit card as well, so my employer could benefit from some cash back. No one ever cared or thanked me for it but it was very satisfying for me personally. It doesn’t matter it’s your own money or someone else’s - savings are savings!
