App barcode scanning

Is anyone else having problems getting the Ibotta app to scan a product barcode? Mine just beeps with no indication whether it is valid or not.

Yep, mine only beeps. It will give an “x” when not accepted and beeps when it is a good barcode.
Could test a wrong UPC and see if you experience the same.

We had the same problem this evening.  Went to walmart with some friends and 2 of the girls had iPhone with Tmobile and it was only beeping without showing up green or red.  We scanned the bar code instead in the search bar on the top to see what offers were valid.

@Ragged_tiger4 I dont love the idea, but it worked out in the end.  My friends signed up for Ibotta and both got their first bonuses and we had so much fun!

Thanks I did try a wrong barcode and I still get the x.
