I am brand new to iBotta and it seems too good to be true...
Long story short, my Wife is a 4th Grade School teacher here in Tigard Oregon...Her School is a Title 1 School (they have a lot of low income families in their area) and the school - when kids are in-person learning - runs at better than 50% Free and Reduced lunch, and that was pre-Covid...
Imagine my surprise when I saw a Tok-Tokker promoting the “Free Thanksgiving Dinner”...Kudos to both Walmart and iBotta...I do the lions share of shopping and cooking for my family but rarely to I shop at Walmart but I was able to fine everything except the 2.8oz fried onions...Thanks to this offer I was able to secure every item, but the onions, Including a 12lb Butterball Turkey for $20.65, I was credited $19.49 from iBotta so for $1.16 one of my Wife’s most needy families is going to get everything they need for Thanksgiving dinner...I am so thrilled and impressed that I’m being my Wife and 2 adult children back tonight and we are going to get 3 more complete meals to pass out...
I challenge each of you who took the time to read this to do the same and bring some extra love and caring to those who need it...We all know people who are down on their luck or even shelters that can use as much free food as possible...
