@Sandyb75 , this is a scam. Please don’t click on anything. The official page is Ibotta, not I’botta. And the whole message has scam written all over it.

My rule of thumb - if it sounds too good to be true, then it is not.

Like several said, there are several clues: misspelled words is a big one.  The message sounds like it is from an individual and who has $1000 to give anyone when $5 or $10 would have been enough.  When it says "complete personal data", that could mean anything.

I wouldn't touch that one at all.

I didn't receive message. Fellow Ibotta users have exercised great caution.  To determine if said message is legitimate.

• Misspelled words
• URL 
• Don't forward messages from unknown sender 
• Don't open 
• Don't provide personal info 
• If offer sounds too good to be true 
• Do not confirm message through any means contained in message ie. If message contains a phone number don't use.  
• Use caution when Googleing. 
• Contact company using confirmed safe methods ie. Credit card company call using phone numbers on statement or credit card.

Stay alert and use caution trolls and unicorns are lurking.

That's definitely not from us. We generally don't have a hundred spelling errors in our messaging, and we don't use an apostrophe in our brand name. Glad you didn't give them any information!
