I wonder why ibotta is running TV ads to recruit newbies when their service dept is are already overwhelmed trying to resolve tickets submitted by their old faithfuls? Hmmmm....curious.

Ibotta is in the marketing business. The more registered users means more exposure on products for their clients and more of those random bonuses...
I think a lot of people sign up but then feel like it’s too much work - or it doesn’t really apply to the things they buy. But they will not “quit” Ibotta (I’m actually not even sure that’s a thing?).
Just like this board has thousands of members and yet there are only a handful of us that post - they can use those numbers for marketing leverage to get us better deals. So advertise away Ibotta and bring on the big bonuses!!
