Im already there and my nightmare is still going on. They told me they would delete my old ibotta account where my phone is attached That I had forgotten now I really don’t know I had Getting conflicting stories from different support people. Just delete the old account then I can add my phone number to the new account what the frig is so hard. I want my earnings now I’m tired of the back and forth seems pretty easy to me.
U got farther then me i havent even gotten a reply from support. I dont have n old acct it acts like i have 2 when i was signing in thru fb n another signing in with my password. I unlinked my phone # but still says its linked to another acct idont understand why "support" wont reply smh.
I'm having the same issue and can't get anyone from ibotta to respond.

I honestly don't think that ibotta wants to address this issue.

Same issue. Been emailing the firstname.lastname@example.org several times a day for the past three days. All I get is generated responses. No help at all.
WOW! There is hope, I have mine resolved and money sent to paypal. I kept praying and emailing. They are busy so this took time. I still do not understand, once they told me in the email the number ending xxxx was used for verification I recognized it my husbands work number. That is a land line and I do not give his number out so that is so weird, but that was the number.
This account was under my husbands name because the prior account under mine had the same phone number issue and I never got the money, I cancelled my account. After some time ... after I stopped being so angry... we opened one on my husbands name and email. I just do the offers because he doesn't care to.
I have asked them to do it differently, like another app I can change my number on there once I sign in and when I redeemed they asked me a security question... easy peasy....
I am sorry everyone is going through this frustration but know I did get real conversations so it is not a scam, just really need a revamp on their system with this phone number issue!!! I hope the best for you all!
Several glitches thinks i bvb have 2 accts n only have 1. Was signing in with fb then password n thinks they r 2 accts smh. Unliked my phone # tried to link it again several times n still says its linked to another acct i only have 1 geez... sent 3rd email today hopefully at sum point they mite actually answer.
