I am starting to get concerned that this is all a scam. I had to wait 4 days to try and withdraw my money and now after waiting I try and it says my account is locked. So much for free!! When they reply to my ticket it’s like they haven’t even read it at all.
Not a scam. Accounts can be locked for a variety of reasons. Keep working the ticket with them. You will get your money if entitled to it. Many of us have over $1000 in earnings in a year or under. Some perhaps over $6000 in a lifetime.
Lots of tickets. Not enough workers. Patience and it will work out.
I understand about the reading the ticket part. I sent in a ticket took a week, seemed like a gernic response when I sent my response again same response im still waiting
I used to think that as well. Now I share less in that initial help ticket as it’s not read thoroughly. When you reply back you will get more of a educated response. Good luck!
Hi @chrisacooper,
I'm sorry to hear that you were having trouble cashing out your Ibotta earnings successfully. I have checked with our Ibotta Care team and it looks like they have updated your account and responded to your ticket.
You should now be able to cash out your earnings without any issues! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
And happy Friday!!
I tried again when I got home from work. I logged out of ibotta and logged back in, I cleared my cache, I turned my phone off and back on and still shows account locked when I try to cash out. It would not let me link my bank account and that doesn't bother me. I added my wife's PayPal account and it still shows account locked. I have no idea what else to do.
Just curious if you tried gift cards as well. I know that probably isnt the option you want, and I doubt it would work, but was just wondering.
Sorry to hear you are going through this. They will eventually get it figure out I think. I am a computer consultant, so I always think there should be a code somewhere on their end that someone can see that gives an exact reason. It is the not knowing why that is part of the madness.
