Scanning Bar Codes in Product when item is in the receipt

It is very frustrating that I have to scan bar codes for products that are clearly on my receipt.  Especially those for my item that is ten cents and I have to go find the packaging for ten cents.  If it is in the receipt and clearly identified then we shouldn't have to scan bar codes

Yes! This bothers me SO MUCH! I mean this with all the gratitude to iBotta because I do still love the app, but...YES!

@Thanshaw  With Walmart, generally speaking, you don't have to scan the items, just the receipt.  But I scan every item in the store to make sure it is correct, and sometimes an Any will attach that I missed, so I don't mind the extra scanning.  I shopped last night with a friend, and there we were, in the dark at Stop and Shop, scanning our receipts in the back of the truck (and scanning the products) just in case an offer disappeared.  I didn't mind it at all.  In fact, we got a good laugh out of it.  Then it was off to Walmart for more shopping.
