This site is too hard to use!!

I have used Fetch Rewards for awhile now and it has been great have earned 98.00, and just found out about this site so decided to try it, BIG MISTAKE!!! the Mobile app doesn't work at all. Won't let me submit receipts,  I basically shop at 3 or 4 stores, even though I added them to my favorites they do not show up on the redeem page so I can submit receipts. Example in my case is Food Lion. I have linked my MVP card and added offers but when I go to redeem page to submit the receipts the store is not listed!! If I try to submit the receipt under the any Grocery store option, the only offers are for Liquor , or beer or wine. This is a total waste of time, nothing seems to work and nobody has been able to give me any answers!! Can anybody help?

Food Lion is a Link Only store.  You do not need to submit receipts for this store.  Be aware that it can take a few days to have Food Lion send the information to Ibotta.  Be sure to select your rebates before purchase and you must use your loyalty card to get credit.

There are three types of stores:

  1. Link Only - You must link your loyalty card or shopping account to Ibotta to get credit.  There is no option to scan a receipt.
  2. Scan your receipt only - You must scan your receipt to get credit.
  3. Link or Scan, but not both - You can choose to link your loyalty card to Ibotta or you can scan your receipt, but once you link, there is no need to scan your receipt.  If you choose scan your receipt, you will not get credit automatically.

Since Food Lion only works when linked, it is not included on the Redeem list of store.

Food Lion is only available as Linked.  When you Link your Ibotta with Food Lion, Food Lion sends your purchase information to Ibotta.  Ibotta tries to match it to all the offers you have selected.  If it finds a match, you get the rebate.

It can take a day or two for your purchase to be send from Food Lion to Ibotta.

Because your Ibotta account is linked, you don't need to scan a receipt.  However, some people have had issues with linked accounts.  Always verify what you purchased with what you thought you should have gotten credit for.  Sometimes, an item can be missed.  If you had multiple items that you purchased and you don't get credit for ANY of them, it is possible that Ibotta did not get any of the information from Food Lion.  In these cases, you will need to open a request.  Be sure to attach a copy of your receipt, pictures of the items you believe you should get credit for and the UPC of each of those items.  It will take a couple of days for Ibotta Care to respond.

Since you are shopping in-store, I would recommend scanning the UPC for all items in the store before purchasing so that you know you bought the right items.

Your insight is confused.

My experience, Food Lion credits the next day. Your account is linked, meaning you will NOT need to scan your receipt after completing your purchase/s.

ibotta will "see" your purchases on your Food Lion MVP Account, since it is linked, and credit you accordingly.

Hi @barbj317,

Would you say the main item you need help with is related to linking your Food Lion account? You might want to search/access the Food Lion retailer prior to selecting the offers, but if you already did that then let me know exactly where the difficulty is and I will try to help.

Hi,

My problem is that Food Lion is not an option on the redeem page, even though I have it listed as a favorite and my MVP card is linked. no where on the app will it let me submit my receipts. Food Lion only shows up on the main page as a recommended store, if I go to Redeem page it's not there to choose from. If I try to submit under the Any Grocery store  option on the redeem page it says to choose a deal, but the only things to choose from are liquor, beer & wine, not groceries. I have the items added to my MVP card and  on my Food Lion app but nothing works

Ok well let's start with the first thing you mentioned. I just added Food Lion in mine and it shows up here. If I select it I get prompted with linking an account. Did you try sorting by Favorites in the Redeem page?

Hi,

Please check your Mobile App, on the Redeem screen it lists the store to submit your receipts from, even thought Food Lion is listed on the Main page and it shows on my account as linked, the Store itsself is not available to submit my receipts. Example if I shop at Walmart and want to submit my receipt I click on store name and the ability to scan my receipt pops up. it does this for every store. but the store Food Lion is not available on the redeem page at All, please fix this
