Walmart pickup/ gift card

Does anyone know if it acceptable to buy a gift card for walmart through Ibotta, then use the same gift card to purchase your walmart pickup order?

If you are talking about Walmart Grocery Pickup, no. Walmart Grocery Pickup does not allow you to specify a gift card as payment.

If you are placing an online order at Walmart.com, you can use a gift card to pay for your purchase and pick it up inside the store.

When using Pay with Ibotta for Walmart, you are buying a Walmart gift card and it can be used at Walmart wherever they allow a gift card.  It doesn't have to be used right away.  It can even be given away as a gift.

FYI... Just noticed that Ibotta renamed Pay with Ibotta to simply Gift Cards.  There is no longer a button on the screen.  You have to scroll down on the main menu and select Gift Cards.

Hello. I received a Walmart gift card from Humana. Can I use it to purchase online at Walmart and receive the cashback rewards on items?

It does not matter what form of payment is used at checkout.

Just make sure you are shopping through Ibotta's web web browser extension and the items are you purchase are selected in your shopping gallery.
