Hey folks, don’t forget to buy WM GC to pay for your groceries. I’m heading to store now to complete WWB  . I already completed 4 /8 needed . I used 4- $5 to pay for case protein shakes( no rebate)& no charge for curbside pickup

Good reminder! I was slow to jump on the bandwagon with Walmart gift cards, but I'm so glad I finally did! My husband was able to reach at least 33% of the way to the Fun Money bonus on his account just by buying gift cards.

I wasn’t planning to go for the fun money or WWB But if I redeem 18 more offers then I will get $15! So do I understand correctly that purchasing a five dollar gift card for Walmart through Ibotta with count toward my bonus? Or do I need to purchase in larger increments? Thanks!

@Shopgirl  Yes! If you buy 7- $5 GC that would count as 7 rebates., so you could buy 15 $5 GC& buy your groceries. Use smallest increments to get more

I’ve used Ibotta gift cards at Walmart about a bazillion times at the SCO using the hand scanner to scan the barcode on my phone, but tonight it didn’t work! 😱😱😱

I went ahead and used my debit card because I needed to scoot, but I’m curious if anyone else has had this happen recently.  Not sure if it was a fluke, but I am hopeful that it’s not permanent.  Wouldn’t be surprised though because this particular store is fussy.

@cjwoody  I’ve never had a problem… I would have gone to CS& had them scan my GC, or tried another machine or gone to register

@cjwoody I had this happen to me recently. I couldn't get my GC to scan at SCO and the person who worked the area couldn't get it to work either. However the GC scanned no problem the next time I used SCO. It seems that every time I go to my WM one or more SCOs is down...
