They sell vodka in your Kroger? Please tell me where you live! I’m in the old south so obviously that’s not happening here.
@Shopgirl mine isn't actually Kroger but Fry's. Whenever I see people post Kroger deals, I have the same deal at Fry's so I just put Kroger in my posts. Hope there are at least some Kroger stores that sell vodka?
@PT00 Lawd have mercy I am cracking up thinking about a grocery store being allowed to sell vodka in Georgia😂 it’s actually fine since I’m only a sporadic wine drinker, but I always forget what it’s like to live places where you don’t have Sunday laws (you can only buy alcohol during specific hours) and other restrictions.
@Shopgirl I'm only a sporadic wine drinker too but I can't pass up free.
I'm in Texas and we can't get any liquor Ibotta rebates (some kinda state law, I think). But Kroger does stock beer and wine in my area. Until about 5 yrs ago the city I live in had no liquor stores (for the hard stuff). Now we have 2. The city council must have decided that they wanted the tax revenue more than staying dry. When next burb over put in a liquor store within walking distance from my town, the council got off their high horse and passed an ordinance allowing liquor to be sold here. I could go into the other ways our city tries to enforce their version of morality... but I won't.
