Shows up as a BCE DQ (Best Customer Exclusive), but many times these are widespread, so shout out about whether or not you have the DQ.
I rather enjoy these and have a small stockpile on hand, but I always do the B1G2F deal at Kroger and Meijer when it comes up.
At my Kroger, one flavor is marked down to $1.39. It did not have a 'discontinue' sticker on it or anything. I had to come back home to see how many of each flavor I have, so I will likely get there Thursday.
If none are marked down, they would be 3 for $2.19, and that is still a good deal to me because I love these.
My Kroger doesn't have that brand. I do have a but it's for Bush beans. The deal is buy 1 baked beans can get 1 regular can. Baked beans are $2.39 and the others are obean bran sale for $1.25. Not as good a deal as your is. Our go to canned brand is Ranch Style. Oh, and we always keep refried beans in stock for nachos and burritos.
Yeah that Bush's deal is pretty garbage for me. My Krogers do not carry the sidekicks, so I would have to pay $2.39 or morefor the Original Baked Beans to get the FREE $1.25 beans. I don't even like their original baked beans, so not a deal for me. I have been waiting forever for the regular baked beans to go on sale and it hasn't happened
I probably haven't had Ranch Style beans since last century. My store doesn't seem to carry the Jalapeno ones. But the regular ones are on sale for $1, so I may try one. I think I liked them a lot.
(Update: I did buy a can of Ranch style beans tonight nut havent tried it yet.)
Our favorite is cooking dried pinto beans with a ham bone and baking a pan of cornbread to go with it. I do make my cornbread from scratch -- I just have to split it some sweetened some not.
I also have this coupon. I have never tried this brand before, but put it on my list anyway since it's such a good deal. My prices are a little better than yours (this week anyway). The Chipotle is $1.25 here and the other three varieties are $1.99. Glad to know you like them as it makes me feel better about buying them. I made the mistake of buying Kroger brand baked beans this summer (only saving like .50 over the price for Bush's) and they were.... to put it nicely.... not good. They came out of the can in a lump like condensed soup does. I broke them up pretty good during cooking but my young'un took one look at them (without even tasting) and said "I'm not eating that!". I don't like to waste food so I ended up choking them down, but I will never purchase them again. Looking forward to trying these however!
My favorite is the Jalapeno, but I also like the Dr Pepper a lot. It does not really taste like Dr Pepper to me, but it does have a nice flavor. The Jalapeno one is just soooooooo good. It is a little spicy; I would say perhaps on par with the Cheetos Jalapeno Mac N Cheese.
I enjoy the Chipotle one as well, but it is my least favorite of the 3. If I can find 3 of these, I like them well enough to get them, especially since I don't have as many of them.
If you have not tried them before, perhaps pay the extra and get 3 different ones so you know for the future, or be cheap like me and get the Chipotle.........lol.
The Dr. Pepper ones have an OptUp rating of 51. I don't normally check that stuff, but was looking at availability.
My store doesn't carry the Serious Beans but I do have a BOGO coupon for Bush's which I think is a good deal. I got the sidekicks which are on sale for $1.50 this week, so 75¢ each.
My stores don't carry the sidekicks, so I didn't realize that was an option. I revised my earlier post where I declared the Bushs deal garbage ....lol. I wish I could have gotten the deal you did.
I don’t have that coupon. Nice score for canned goods for sure!
