I assume LIDL is a grocery store?  Never heard of it, but I haven't been to New York in years.

@mmoore01  Yes - they took over a lot of the old Best Markets.  They don't even take coupons - except their in-store offers and app.   They have great prices and are a cross between a small grocery and a really small Costco or Sams or BJs

Lidl has focused its initial growth on the Mid-Atlantic states from New York to Florida as well as Texas. While the initial stores will remain in VA, NC, and SC, there are already definite plans to add Lidl locations in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

They are just like ALDI’s. Foreign owned and carry a lot of international products. Their fresh bakery is awesome!
