Re: “ Offer not eligible for cash back when combined with other coupons.”

@Dean

Yes, I opened a ticket, but I know it is because of the coupons.  It occurred on multiple receipts,  and at first when I submitted, it recognized the offers.  Then when it paid out and showed what offers it was for, the PQ items were omitted.

I feel my usage of this app is about to decrease immensely.   What a shame....

If Ibotta is going to adhere to this policy, they might as well remove CVS and Walgreens.

No sane person would shop at either store without using coupons.  And what about Extra Bucks, Walgreens Cash and Register Rewards?

I don't use Ibotta very much with either store, but occasionally something would come through.

It's a shame Ibotta spent all that time trying to get CVS Online connected, but I will always use my Extra Bucks and digital coupons when I place an order.

Ibotta needs to re-think this NEW policy.  Their active membership will be mostly gone by January, 2023.

@Dean  I shopped at a Kroger affiliate and used a $4 DQ for Schick razors. The DQ showed up just below the Item on my receipt and I was awarded the offer by Ibotta.
I suppose there’s potential for Ibotta to reverse it if they do any audits. We’ll see. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ecbs and register rewards are my biggest concern right now.  I totally agree, no couponer would ever shop at those stores without coupons, crts, ivcs, ecbs and RR.

Unbelievable!  And then they wonder why we are all so confused.   Infuriating 😡

Well, the offer doesn’t have the new wording so it’s “technically the truth”.

@Dean  If the offer does not contain the no-coupon verbiage, while the below article plainly states no coupons, then wouldn’t the below terms supersede? 🤔🤔🤔

@cjwoody  Well I’m not a lawyer but I have watched several seasons of Judge Judy so I would claim that Arm & Hammer approved the deal with their Facebook ad. It looks like Ibotta’s partners haven’t been told about the changes or are just as confused as the rest of us.

There has been a lot of chit-chat on FB and IG about the "NEW" Ibotta coupon policy.  I am finally getting back into couponing and I myself am very disappointed with the lack of communication between Ibotta and the community especially.  One of the reasons I popped on over here tonight was to see if there are any updates (which sadly there don't appear to be).

I think it is safe to say that DEAL STACKING is the primary way to save money and to be unable to do so would greatly curtail many of our shopping trips.  I personally can no longer use printed coupons at Target.  We work hard to combine these deals using apps such as Ibotta.  In times of a recession, we all need to be able to save wherever we can.  The lack of communication is very disappointing.

I also think that people were trying to double dip with Walmart+ and Ibotta and that was the beginning of the downfall.  Time will tell.
