I'd be curious where you saw the verbiage indicating the account had to be linked.

I just checked my CVS account and sure enough, I am getting the same message, even though I can still submit a receipt from CVS without being linked.

@ShelbyS  - Please let someone know that this is happening.  It is very annoying and should not be coming up at all.

By the way, on my android version of Ibotta, CVS Online is displayed first on the pop-up that asks "How do you want to shop at CVS Pharmacy?"  In-Store is shown below it.  Other stores match what is listed below the icon under Favorites with In-store first on the pop-up.

To alert someone that you're replying to what a particular person said, you can type the at sign (@). that brings up all the people who have been commenting with who you're replying to at the top of the list.  I'm so not social media savvy and it took me a while to figure out how to reply to an individual. The new post will still be at the end of the thread.

Are you using the Android app? What version number is your app? On iOS, I get the pop up message asking to link but it can be dismissed and offers added without another message.

@Dean I use android Samsung Galaxy s21 5G. Ibotta version is 6.153.1. My mom uses an older android phone and her Ibotta does the same thing.. A few days ago, mine did the same as yours. However, now the message pops up each time I add an offer on CVS.

I am having the same issue as @SICUnurse9 .

I am using Android, version 6.153.1 of Ibotta.

When I select an offer. the pop-up comes up.  I only get two choices:

1. Link account
2. Continue browsing offers

I selected the second option.

If I select another offer. it comes up again.

I’m on 6.153.0 on iOS. I thought there was an official announcement thread on here about CVS linking but I couldn’t find one. I must be thinking about all the emails. You might want to open a ticket with the Help Center.

With this not eligible with coupons and promo codes I hope that there will be specific explanations for certain stores.  I am curious how this will work with Harris Teeters evic pricing, which is a sale price on a sale price.  I know that an evic coupon shows up as eCpn under the item on the receipt 

 and the evic shows up under the item

 but would the evic be considered a coupon since it takes off more after the sale price?

I would also like to know how this affects Food Lion Shop & Earn earnings.  On the receipt it shows up under Savings as Shop&Earn SAVINGS!  I know the digital coupons show up as Couponhub Savings and sometimes they are listed under the item and sometimes they are listed under Savings.  But since the Shop & Earn takes dollar amounts off the entire purchase does that count as a coupon?  

With so many questions and so many stores being part of ibotta I hope that they can make an effort to explain what this means for individual stores.

Just watched some YouTubers doing they’re Walgreens/CVS/Walmart hauls this week, and many are using coupons on Ibotta items. So far they say they are getting their rebates and no reversals.

@FelskyNY  I’m 66/88 for the Lucky Strike $30 bonus. I wouldn’t have shopped the way I did had I known they would make the changes that they did. Yesterday I had to use my parents shopping card for an item because I could get a digital coupon to unload from my ShopRite card. I didn’t remember loading it. I’m concerned that will keep happening. Thankfully this time I was only purchasing 5 items so it was easy to see. Shoprite let’s you normally unload digital coupons but I don’t think acme and stop & shop lets you.
