I cashed out my CoinOut app recently, fully intended to stop using it (albeit not ready to deactivate my account). I understood they were making changes and I got bored waiting.....until today.
I received what was to me a SURPRISE $6.50 credit to account. But why?
Apparently, a company that I do business with shared my phone number (or in someway CoinOut made the match, which doesn't delight me), but in the process I got CoinOut credit. While $6 is not a huge amount, it so happens that I expect to do extensive business with the other company over the next several months, which brings me to consider that CoinOut may stay in my game after all.
@What-Shot CoinOut ditched EVERY freaking in-store offer 2-3 months ago, exactly opposite of what I hoped they would do - I can at least hope some day they'll wise up and change course. Its a torturous and excruciating slow and tough deal making $$$$ with CoinOut without in-store offers, but with other and better apps they're merely tolerable and I have persisted in scanning receipts with them. The rare 10¢+ payouts for scan (& the MUCH RARER 20¢+ payout) are causes for celebrating. If it wasn't for Slide, CoinOut would be at rock bottom of my cash back app totem pole
@RCKCreatEnt: Agreed! Which is why I cashed out and wasn't using it anymore . But when the $6.50 credit posted to account today, I started thinking that in the foreseeable future, it may serve me after all.
Yay. Glad I never wasted my time with coinout, but congrats @What-Shot on your score
@Rickibotta: When I started with it, it was great for supplemental stacking. I liked what it was once upon a time...
But totally agree that (apart from the recent score), it's been worthless for awhile now.
I just want to be done after:
I already have like 6 to 8 online cashback sites as well.
It all is a bit much after a while, so I thought I was done after FETCH....then I added SB and SK
At least ASP is easy peasy lemon squeezy
@What-Shot if CoinOut had any idea how to be appealing to a wider spectrum of potential users they'd take cues from Inbox $s and - to a much greater extent - Swagbucks. I got into Swagbucks and Inbox $s back in February. In 2.5 years with CoinOut I think I made almost $337 total, never having made a withdrawal. I have $58+ and not yet made a withdrawal with Inbox $s and - I think - $119+ currently available with Swagbucks after having withdrawn $30-$55
@RCKCreatEnt: I forgot the name of the app that got super pokey, then merged with Coupons dot com.
@Rickibotta: Ahh...yes, with a list like yours, no need for CoinOut!
I'm trying to simplify, streamline. Keep the Most lucrative...that's why I totally cashed out (every penny) of my CoinOut. Normally when I make withdrawals I do it in multiples of $5 (starting at $20).
@What-Shot are you thinking of Savjngstar?
...I used to like that site until the offers got lame.
As for coinout, I signed up in April. It does take forever to make any money. And the offers are terrible and seem like they are just trying to get your personal info. It's not too much of an inconvenience clicking open the app and scanning the receipt after I scan for Fetch...however it seems like such a waste every time $.02 pops up. I think the highest I have seen was $.13
....I'm at about 10.00 (mainly thanks to a referral credit), I will make a decision at 20.00
@Rickibotta how does field agent work??
