Walgreens MM

This was a fun and productive deal. I believe I saw the colgate deal in KCL.....

2 colgate optical white toothpaste. On sale for $4 each and earn $4 RR when buy two. WG has $4 off DC on 2.

$4x2=$8-$4DC-$2Fetch$4RR=$2MM

Then I took my $4RR and bought 2 bags of pretzel crisps on sale 2 for $4 and paid 0 at the register. Submitted to IB for $1 back so was a $1 MM on the pretzel crisps.

Toothpaste is easy to get free at Walgreens. I may never pay for toothpaste again. There was also a deal to get free Crest toothpaste and mouthwash on KCL. And free Mentos.

@Dean oh cool, I will have to check those out. I know people who actually pay full price for TP. It kills a part of my soul when I hear about it.

You are lucky.  I have never seen Colgate products in Fetch.

@Donna2  I tried that Colgate deal at my local Walgreens today. I paid $4.25 for the 2 toothpastes (including tax) but only got 8 cents in register rewards. I asked them about it and they said I couldn't combine the coupon and the register rewards. So I returned the toothpastes and they gave me back $8.51. I was honest so I told them I only paid $4.25 for them and asked why I'm getting back $8.51. They said that's what their system said. So it still worked.out for me but not as intended.

@cweiner31 I paid $4 and change at the register as well after the $4 off digital was applied. I had a fetch offer for 2000 points each ($4) that took care of the rest. I recieved the $4 register reward no.prob even after using the digital. Not sure why yours would be different. Honestly I don't shop walgreens very often so I'm not sure.

We're you asking to use the $4 register rewards towards that purchase maybe? That I know they won't do. It has to be used towards a seperate purchase which is what I used for the pretzel crisps.

@Donna2 no, I wasn't trying to use the register rewards. I paid cash and had the coupon loaded. Eh, Walgreens is weird. I can't keep up with all their deals and coupons.

@cweiner31 well dangit, I'm not sure why it went that way for you. I'm keeping a closer eye on Walgreens because I hear more and more that folks are getting really good deals there. I just do small purchases there generally for now. I shop at CVS as well but that took me a bit to get my head wrapped around and I still trip up a little. Taking walgreens slow but think it will work really well for me. I can walk to walgreens from my house. CVS is further away so I'd like to get Walgreens reved up a little more and do less at CVS to save on gas by enjoying a morning walk to WG.

Gas is REDICULOUS right now. Just a 2 months ago I could fill up my Truck for about $48-50 bucks. I filled up the other day and it cost $90 for crying out loud.

I bought the Colgate toothpaste at Walgreens, but the $4 Register Rewards did not print.  I got a manager involved and she gave me Walgreens Cash instead.  But she couldn't give me $4, so she gave me $5 instead.

I prefer Walgreens Cash anyway.  It is easier to use and doesn't expire for a year instead of the two weeks for Register Rewards.
