@FelskyNY I like the idea of combining deals to get the Target GC. Looking at your receipt, I see that $6.99 is a good cost to combine with the AleveX so I was thinking of getting Unisom sleepgels with a $4 coupon. But I’m confused about your receipt. I can’t get the math to work on the 82¢ REDcard discount. 5% of $21.40 is $1.07, not $0.82. What am I getting wrong?

@Dean It makes sense when you take the total of $21.40 - $5 GC earned = $16.40 and 5% of that is .82
@FelskyNY I have come to prefer Walgreens to CVS. Generally, I don’t like the ticking timebomb nature of ExtraBucks. While Walgreens has something similar (Register Rewards), they also have deals that generate Walgreens Cash, which I believe expire after a year. Much more breathing room with the WGC offers. Also, Wags has been having weekly $5 WYS $20 digitals, which I have been grabbing.
@FelskyNY I see but that seems … odd. Must be that newfangled math the kids are being taught.
@cjwoody I prefer Walgreens cash to the register rewards and ignore the deals for those. I don’t shop enough to use those up in a week. Plus at Walgreens I’ll never have to pay for toothpaste and razors ever again. 😬

I salute you, @Dean ! 🥳
@Lollykins thanks for that info! 👍 I just got back from there and my total was 20.85 or so and I had 17 in Rewards and she said I could do 10.00.
Still was nice... I bought the BOGO vitamins, the scotts 3.75 paper towels (which is why I love that place !) And some candy for like 11 bucks! (Using Rewards)
@FelskyNY @cjwoody yes! Walgreens is a great place to snag some good items...mainly grocery/ household stuff for me
