OMG! I’m so grateful for this community Thank you @Bebe72 for posting. If you’ve seen any of my posts in the past two days, then you know how many issues I’ve had within blocks on my account and even a deactivation. I was checking my email frantically to see if I’d received any notification. On a more positive note, I just got my first dose of the COVID vaccine. I was so overcome with emotion that I started crying. It’s been a year ago this week that I was diagnosed with a genetic autoimmune disease and started taking an immunosuppressant. The pandemic was just beginning, and I found myself in the highest risk category. My entire life was put on pause. I had to take medical leave from work and haven’t been able to hug even my mom since last March. I still have to wait until after my second dose on the 28th, but in 14 days, I’ll already have upwards of 60% protection. Sorry for veering completely off subject, but today feels like the first day of the rest of my life, and I can’t contain my excitement. I can’t wait to hug my mom next month and anybody else who needs a hug. Stay safe everyone and don’t ever take this life for granted.
