Ibotta: wWhat is going on?
I am not a complainer. I like solutions. And I have been patient.
But.... This is the 4th time that rebate items they are not recognized when I submitted my receipt, scanned in a well lit area .....The 4th time.
Tonight I purchased 10 items for rebate. I verified the bar codes at the store. I ensured that they were checked and on “my list”.
I submitted my receipt. 3 were recognized. So I added the items and scanned all the bar codes and I got a message that 10 were recognized.
BUT........ I only got credit for 6, still pending.
Then I resubmitted the 4 missing ones, I got credit for 1.
I submitted a ticket, got credit for 1.
I will now submit a detailed ticket for the 2 that are still missing with photos of barcodes, offers and receipt.
I expect that this be resolved but I am exhausted. Why is it so difficult these days? I really enjoy using this app and love my savings. Please fix the app. It should not be this difficult.

If it's still pending wait. Pending is always wrong and will be correct when it goes through. They can't do anything when it's pending anyway. Also I saw an update today did you update your app?

I have had similar experiences. The "still pending" receipt indicates a different number or amount Than what matched when submitted. Usually it adjusts before it finalizes. On one occasion, the pending Receipt totally disappeared without even mentioning that no items were found.
Typically I Keep checking back until it processes as expected.
If patience Is a virtue, ibotta users have great opportunities To because very virtuous while Earning rebates.
This happened to me with a few receipts. It would submit with the correct total and then the pending would be a different total. I submitted tickets each time. One ticket in December took 2 weeks before they got back to me. Then they wanted me to take pictures of the barcodes for all the items and email it back to them. Of course my family ate the items and I no longer had the packaging. It was so annoying. Another time I had the packaging. So frustrating.
If you turn in alot of rebate items or a high dollar amount most of the time it will say pending and the number of items or the dollar amount will not be correct, don't do anything else and just be patient (which is hard for me) and when the pending is over the number of rebate items and dollar amount will be correct.
If you keep scanning and turning in the receipt several times all your doing is creating a mess for ibotta to deal with in order to handle the ticket you turned in.
Always if its pending, do nothing until the pending is over and then if something is wrong create a ticket but usually everything will be correct after pending ends.
The totals were around $5 or so and I did not submit the same receipts over. I was patient and waited, however, after I placed a ticket to have it fixed, they took 2 weeks to get back to me and then wanted the packaging barcodes. They eventually did credit me for my purchase as I keep all my receipts. And now, if it's in a pending state, I put the empty packaging to the side in case until it posts and then throw it away. It only happens when I have to submit receipts. There is a delay with my Target linked accounts posting but that seems to be working. However, my linked Winn Dixie did not transmit over and they eventually credited me for that when I placed a ticket. They said it was transmission error.
Resolved- I received all my rebates and bonus credits.
I learned a few things Re: pending receipts. In the past, when I had pending receipts, the final allocation was the same as pending, and once, even worse.
This time it was different. The credits were all correct when the receipt was finalized. I am not sure if it was because I immediately posted the ticket with the details on the missing credits or if I had done nothing it would have been resolved on its own.
The frustrating thing is that usually when items are not credited on the pending receipts, they disappear from the list so they cannot be resubmitted and a ticket must be submitted to resolve.
If this happens again I will do nothing and see what happens and I’ll let you guys know. God knows my way was exhausting.
But, this one is resolved. So I will continue. 8 more to earn my “Cold Hard Cash”!

It happened for last weekend and I am trying to complete weekend bonus and some got pending and some approved. And other thing is some of the offers got multiple times, but got credited only once. I had to contact help desk and they helped me.
