hello, i’ve just recently scanned a couple of barcodes with the items i bought, does anyone know when this money will be put on my ibotta account?
@yxsuii Did you just scan the barcodes or did you upload the receipt also?
Is the store you shopped at a linked store or a scan receipt store? If it's linked you need to link your card/account 1st then click what you want to buy then go buy it. If you bought exactly what was stated in the fine print of the rebate credit time for this is normally up to 48 hours some people have stated 3-5 days some longer this is with all linked stores. If it's a scan store you need to click what items you are buying then go buy it scan receipt or scan/enter barcode of the receipt then follow the prompts to scan the barcodes (depending on the store follow the prompts on what to do) if you bought exactly what is in the fine print of the rebate credit time for this is right away up to 24 hours/48 hours.
hey! thanks for replying, i uploaded the receipt and the barcode, it said that i need to wait 24 hours till the money is in my actual ibotta app, i was just wondering how long that took on average
It depends on the store, but 24 hours is not uncommon.
Stores like Walmart, Target and Walgreens usually happen immediately.
@mmoore01 thank you for replying! and yes, i shopped at target, it’s been about 6 hours now so i’m not too sure what’s going on 😂
@yxsuii If you have a linked account with Target , it can take 48 hrs. If not 1-2 hrs
My linked target usually takes up to 48nhours to post.
@yxsuii if any stores keep my receipt submissions in suspense the longest, they've typically been Sprouts and Whole Foods
@yxsuii do you understand all your cash back goes into what you could call an E-FUND or cyber-fund? 2+ years ago you had to have either a PayPal or Venmo account to put funds into your checking account, or absent PayPal or Venmo you could convert withdrawn funds into an e-gift card (those things have become a UUUUUGE part of my CBAE (cash back app era) life. Now you can withdraw your cash back DIRECTLY to your checking account
