Has anyone figured out if this offer applies to premier access purchases?
When I launch shop Disney+ through Ibotta it tells me to download the app and the chrome extension doesn't even activate when I open Disney+
I couldn't figure it out either. I tried from my phone and the extension and neither worked. On the extension, I didn't even see Disney listed as one of the companies. So I just ended up using Rakuten, their's was $12.50 cash back.
When you used Rakuten, was it for the premier access only or full subscription?
This was for the premier access. I already had the full subscription. From my understanding it's just a standard cash back rate, not a percentage.
Thanks
Hey, just a heads up. Seems I was mistaken. I got $5 for the Mulan purchase, but they were offering $12.50 for a 1 year Disney+ subscription.
I've not heard of Rakuten is it as cumbersome as Ibotta is to use? Can you actually use it on the computer or do you have use the app?
@Philkyrie Rakuten is pretty easy, in my opinion, but I don’t think ibotta is that cumbersome, so you may disagree. I’ve been using Rakuten (formerly Ebates) for almost 10 years, so it’s like a second nature to me to check its app before I do any shopping. They also have the desktop extension and it’s definitely more intuitive than ibotta’s.
@Kmcca006 Did you end up upgrading to premium access!m? If so, from ibotta or Rakuten? I’m tempted because I want to see Black Widow and October is so far in the future! Rakuten is more clear about their cash back for premium access but not a good enough deal for me.
Upgrading is not the option really, as you have to pay the $30 for every "Premier" movie. I have not done anything yet for Black Widow since I am still debating if I want to see it in theaters. With Mulan, I never got the cash back because of the app issues.
