FAO's: Is it just my imagination?

Is it just my imagination, or does it also seem to you that a number of the FAO's (FREE AFTER OFFERs), particularly in connection with Walmart, are never available because the ibotta-offer is simply about purging their shelves of discontinued items?

There are so many FAOs in WM that don't even show up on the WM app.

Yes! I've been looking for the Tropicana Premium Drinks FAO for a very long time at multipe Walmart locations. The only ones on the shelves are the varieties that are NOT ELIGIBLE. Hmmmm.....

There are definitely FAOs to clear the shelves of unpopular products.  Oftentimes, I understand why they weren’t a hit.  It’s still worth picking up if you can find it and occasionally I find a new product we like.

That OR what I tell myself is that the product is so new to wherever it’s free, that I don’t have it yet. None of my Walmart’s carry CORE bars, Flow water, Greek goddess yogurt. I think there’s some sort of a geographic algorithm but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

@elamb88 You've proven my point when you state that you cannot find FLOW. I was able to get FLOW easily when the FAO originally surfaced, but have not found it with its new FAO.

Yes. I find it's the NEW stuff they don't stock in the South.

@What-Shot , I’ve noticed WM has cleared out  name-brand products & replace with Great Value.I don’t  buy store brands

@Icequeen813 Are you saying that the Great Value brand offers available at WM in the ibotta app are increasing while name brand are decreasing? Or do you mean that the Walmart store itself is offering more GV brand products than name brand?

I just checked my app and at this time, I don't seen any GV brand available thru ibotta. However, it's interesting that you mentioned this because I have noticed that Kroger brand products are now available in ibotta.

Each store can carry what they want the could just not carry it or they sold out you can ask the manager if they sell it and when it will come back in or if they don't carry it to order it for you. I do that with my grocery store when they don't have something I need.

@What-Shot I’m saying, in general WM is  carrying more GV brand products than name brand products in general.
