There's nothing yoiu can do. Yoiu have to click the offers 1st then buy them. If you use walmart pay pay with a penny oe some change 1st then use walmart pay then you'll get a receipt. Even if your sccount is linked you need to click on offers before yoiu buy them. Either return them (I don't know if stores are doing returns because of the pandemic) and rebuy or just buy them again. Take it as a learning experience.
Hi!
This has happened to me before. I wish the Walmart Pay app automatically linked like reward cards do. I never think to click the Ibotta app when I am checking out.
On the Walmart app, open Walmart Pay and click the bottom where it shows your card to access the settings.
You can also just enter the transaction code if you did not want to go through the screenshot steps to scan it. The screenshot seems easier to me than writing the transaction number down.
Hope this helps!
This does help. Thank you! The offer is not in my app yet. I hope I get it soon. 😊
You have to have the deal selected BEFORE you purchase the item. You HAVE to upload the barcode on the receipt for payment.
I would take the stuff back. Make sure you have your coupons selected, and repurchase using cash or card so you get a hard copy of your receipt.
I hope this helps. I'm sorry for the confusion. Getting started can be rough.
I’m sorry, I’ve done this. I don’t think there is much you can do. You have to add the offers before purchasing or submitting your receipts. You can only submit a receipt once, if you resubmit it, it would be rejected.
I believe you get the offer by adding the new Ibotta extension on your computer. When I did that it popped up to add the items to my offers. I don't think the items are automatically showing the app because the promotion for the free Thanksgiving dinner is the browser extension promotion.
Go to your phone app and put in the recipt number from the bottom . Its a TC # Idid it when i got home and got 23 back.
I purchased my items. Did grocery pickup and then they tell me my email has the receipt. Help!
I would also urge everyone to email or comment to Walmart/Walmart Pay customer service to let them know why you will no longer be paying with Walmart Pay; They've invested a lot in this product, so hit them where their money is, and you may get faster action.

PS Of course, keep in mind there are often some very weird decisions made with internet-based products. Witness that I just had to register separately with Ibotta Community to make this comment, instead of being able to login with my Ibotta account.
Good luck!
