I'm new to ibotta I've been trying for 2 days to get 20$ moved to PayPal

Ibotta wont help when I sent them email they said something about validating period I dont know if anyone is familiar with this

With the troubled economy I'm sure ibotta works with people like publix to take advantage of people but I dont have a lot of money

As far as I know people do use use ibotta 

It says my account is locked and I'm not rich

I spent money to get up to 20$ 

It's easy for people to believe in things like ibotta but as far as I can tell it's a scam

Does anyone know what to do?

I'm not sure right off hand because I'm really new to Ibotta as well I'm almost at $50 and I have not attempted to put my money onto PayPal yet but as long as your PayPal account is linked up correctly you should be able to

I pulled cash to my back account 2 days ago and it posted.  You just have to submit a ticket.  Someone else had suggested contacting them on facebook.  I'm sorry you are having such a tough time.

yes I had just tried it myself for the first time I was able to withdraw 20 from my Ibotta account straight to my PayPal and then I took it from my PayPal to my checking account and I didn't have any trouble so I'm not sure just double check and make sure your PayPal account is set up correctly or send them a ticket for help sorry I'm not any More help

I am having the same problem, the support email responses take way too long. It has now been almost 3 weeks since I’ve been able to withdraw my earnings, my account got locked it took 10 days for support to review and supposedly unlock my account, just for me to find out 2 days ago it’s still locked 😡 now I’m once again waiting for someone to read and respond to my emails and fix my account. They need a better process for these issues. I am very irritated and disappointed with Ibotta at this moment!

I just don't understand how the system works. If my account is locked then why can I login to my account?

This is just a thought.  Could it be that when you tried to link Ibotta to Paypal that something went wrong and your PayPal account got locked?  If your Ibotta account was locked, I would think you couldn't get in at all.

I would make sure PayPal is not locked.  If it is ok, unlink Ibotta with PayPal and try linking again.

There's many reasons why you could be locked out. You tried to take out the money as soon as you got it, your email for ibotta is not the same for your paypal email, you did something they think is fraudulent, an audit etc. I do not have paypal I put my bank on it. Putting in a ticket can take days sometimes weeks and if you keep putting in tickets you go to the bottom of the list and have to wait longer. My suggestion is to message them on the ibotta facebook page you'll get a faster response.
