Always scan the UPC of the item in Ibotta BEFORE you buy it.

Always add the ibotta offers to your account before you go shopping

Don't forget to scan your receipt.  I normally do it while still in the store or in the parking lot.  Too many times, one or more rebates are gone by the time I get home.

Do check routinely for your favorite stores to see if any of your redeemed offers have reeset  (aka been added back after you have redeemed them)

Don't get hung up on what offers you have verses your friends.  Offers and Bonuses are different for everyone.

Do stack coupons with your ibotta offers when possible.

Check coupons.com of smartsource.com for printable offers.  Then stack them with ibotta offers.

If you get the Sunday paper, look through the coupon books.

Do check out digital coupons, too.  If your store doesn't have digital coupons, check out the coupons.com app.  You can submit your receipt for money back on many products.

Don't be afraid to ask questions if you are not sure how something works.   The community is here to help and we all continue to learn.   There is no  shame in ignorance.

Don't get caught up in the excitement and end up buying things you won't use or don't need just because it is exciting to get a deal.

Unless you get something free, you don't really save anything.  You are spending something.  So be more cognizant of how good of a deal you can get on things you already use first.  Then figure out what things you would like to try and ensure you dont pay more than that.  You don't have to get every deal.
