Always scan receipts immediately so you don’t lose them or forget.
Do remember your bonuses expire at varying times (based on where you live geographically). @Dana had posted something about time zones, but I'm too tired to look for it. Drove my son out of state for a new job (and I am so tired). @Rickibotta thanks for noticing I was AWOL - I did get the 2nd bonus when I got home. and I like your new tagline signature. My tagline in my Instagram posts is Measure Twice, Cut Once. My dad was an Industrial Arts (Shop) teacher - and that was hit tag line quite often.
And I'm not sure anyone (or everyone) said it - but Patience. Just be patient if you submit an offer and it takes a day or 2 or even 3 to come through, just be patient, submit a ticket, all will be well in the end.
If you are planning on satisfying a bonus in 1 trip, make a list of what you want and then plan on not finding half of the items, so have plan B with secondary items so that you’re not frustrated trying to make a rash decision on what to buy for that final item. The closest store is 20 miles from my house. Plan, plan, plan for a successful trip. I keep a second list with free items and low cost items that I know I will use.
Select the store first, not all coupon apply to all stores....
Read coupon details and if not maje sure by checking if item applies by selecting the coupon then go to check if item qualifies bar and scan item. The app will notify you if that particular items will give you a credit.
How this helps good luck
Also find out if the store have their own app... you may also apply any additional discounts provided by the retailer.. 😉
Hi, Newbie
To max out your $$, try to use digital coupons and/or printed coupons to get double savings. Ibotta offers usually match manufactures coupons. I can often get triple $$ because my Kroger has their own cash back program. I have made over $1200 in the last 2 years. I enjoy it! Also, don't be afraid to request help if one of your offers doesn't work.
But KCB does not stack with DQ, so if you want to stack with MQ, it must be a PQ.
When there is DQ and KCB, I always look to see which is more.
If the DQ is more, I will clip KCB as well. Occasionally I will get the KCB, but I don't count on it
If KCB is more than DQ, I decide whether or not to purchase as if the DQ doesn't exist..
Is this similar to what you do?
Don't assume new Ibotta rebates will be under the category New. Sometimes new rebates are added without going through the New category first.
I usually start with the Dairy & Eggs category and scroll through everything to the end.
I just love soupons.com. It has so many discounts and stores that I shop. THANKS!
Do track your expected rebates to the extent it matters to you.
There are times I only get $4 out of $10 back. I then have to open a ticket to get the other $6.
Don't be afraid to open tickets when you have genuinely been shorted. Ibotta customer service is very fair albeit slow at times. You are the only one who can determine if a quarter or a dollar is worthy of opening a ticket. Money is money.
