Thanks for the tutorial, I have unlinked my Target account and all is as described. I will go to Target and give it a test buy and see how it goes.
I am not trying to upload a receipt right now but I can't link my account. I double checked my credentials and signed off and logged back into my Target to be sure. I can sign in to my Target but Ibotta cant link it today. Is there a known issue?
I can look into it, has anyone else been having difficulty linking their Target accounts today?
My Target account is linked. I don’t have an option to submit a paper receipt. My Circle bar code was scanned, as I received credit for my coupons. It’s been 4 days but I have not received my Ibotta payment. Is this normal? I don’t want to submit a ticket if it’s being processed but it’s $25 plus my bonus.
@Lizmcg Submit a ticket
As @Icequeen813 said, go ahead and submit a ticket. It should never taken more than 72 hours (3 days) to receive offer credits via linked account. There were several updates to the app this week which could have caused the offers to be missed. Rest assured that the help center will adjust your account to reflect all offers and bonuses that were missed. Make sure to include as much information as possible including names of offers and number of redemptions, names of bonuses, amount you’re owed on each offer and bonus, photos or screenshots of your itemized receipt or online order showing completion thru pick-up or delivery. I try to include as much detail and supporting documentation as possible to help streamline the process, but it might still take a couple of days. I’m the worst at being patient, but rest assured, they will respond. If you don’t receive a response within 48 hours, let us know. As long as you’re able to provide a ticket number, @LaraL can check on the status after 48 hours. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help with creating the ticket.
The trick I use is to unlink and then relink the Target account. Dont know why it works but it does.
@eyekim I know the help center sometimes suggests un-linking and re-linking, as a way to trigger a refresh, but make sure to create a ticket to notify the help center any time you do it. I ran into a big problem with this workaround because it caused duplicate credits to appear on my account. The system perceived these credits as me submitting duplicate receipts, and it triggered an automatic block on my account. If you’ve been instructed by the help center to un-link and re-link, then you’re covered. Otherwise, it can lead to much bigger problems. Always notify the help center and be sure to keep detailed records of your communication. Unfortunately, there are folks out there who try to take advantage, and we all pay the price.
@Lizmcg I would definitely submit a ticket as the others have mentioned.
