I have been having this issue for quite some time. I have ordered from my devices (iphone, ipad) as well as on my computer using the chrome extension. I have emailed and had the items added manually to my account. Twice they have instructed me to unlink and re-link my Walmart account to Ibotta, but I have done that and it still refuses to register. So, in order to receive any rebates I have to give them a copy of the receipt, write out the items that I am expecting to get rebates on and the amount I am expecting. That is a lot of trouble to have to go through, but okay, I get it, but then, on top of that I notice that when they manually add the items to my account they do it as one lump sum transaction meaning any bonuses earned are not going to automatically post to my account...SO, now I have to keep track of the coupons I used (in detail because they disappear when they have expired), and make sure I go through each bonus and compare it with my purchases and THEN email again with the bonuses that I should have received and why I should have received them. Has anyone else had this issue? I am a busy person and this is taking up way too much of my time.
Yes it never works for me so I go to the store - I honestly think they should stop offering online because its more problems than not
@CrabbyCouponer You just described exactly what I went thru for my first two months as a new Ibotta user who linked his Target account. I almost stopped using Ibotta because I wasn’t having any fun at all. Even worse, when the help center suggested unlinking and re-linking, it caused automatic credits on repeat offers, which flagged my account for duplicate receipts. My earnings were blocked, followed by deactivation of my account. It took several days to prove my innocence and get my account restored. I don’t think I’ll ever link an account again, unless it becomes the only option. I’m still dealing with recurring flags on my account which causes temporary blocks on my earnings, and the help center will not answer my repeated requests to stop the flags and blocks. It happens weekly, and takes at least two days for the Account Review Team to audit my purchases and remove the block. During the review period, I’m still able to use the app as normal. I’m just not able to transfer my earnings.
I JUST DON'T GET this ol' online GROCERY shopping and home delivery thing, MAYBE AND ONLY MAYBE if I were bedridden and unable to walk
As long as I can walk I actually dig being IN a store and I want to maintain upper hand control in the process of scanning the receipts
I’m sorry to hear of the trouble you’re having. Walmart Grocery Pickup works great for me. I appreciate having a choice between Pickup and In store and do both regularly. Some days I prefer to browse in store and some I want the ease and convenience of pickup. Ibotta has been doing a good job processing my orders either way.
I remember shortly after getting into Ibotta getting goaded into linking my Kroger account, as if scanning receipts was 'such a hassle.' So I do it, make one of my myriad trips to Kroger, I don't scan as I usually do, then NOTHING that day and the next, so of course I complain and in the absence of a decent explanation I decide to heck with this, what in the blazes is so **bleep** 'inconvenient' about scanning receipts and that I rather enjoy scanning receipts and getting the RUSH of knowing I got cash back, even if it may be small potatoes like 50 centaroos to 1 buckaroo
i am beginning to think that this whole thing is a iphone vs. android problem possibly. My friend has android & she showed me how she linked her acct & how it works for her & i showed her me doing the same thing on my iphone & it doesnt even show walmart on my pickup & delivery section. So frustrating!!!
Ibotta worked beautifully for me with Walmart Grocery Pickup until the last couple of months. I don’t know what has happened, but it’s very frustrating. I have had to contact Ibotta twice regarding my purchases. In order to get credit for my purchases, I had to submit pictures of the items and barcodes. They credited my account but won’t give me the bonuses I earned. I unlinked and relinked my account. It has worked once since then. Currently, I have two separate transactions that I have not received credit from Ibotta. So now I have to contact them again. I’m disappointed and frustrated.
