Wholesome Brownie Mix

Has anybody tried the Wholesome Dark Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix? I had really high hopes but they turned out inedible. They had a very strong sour/acidic taste, even before I baked them. I was hoping baking would take away the bad taste.  I’m just wondering if I got a bad batch or if this is how they are supposed to turn out.

@MicheleJane I am a little bit late to the party but I saw your post when I was logging on to post this exact question. I made it today and Noticed there was a strange aftertaste that reminded me of something but couldn't put my hand on what exactly it is.  I even double checked the expiration date and it was not expired so I can't imagine what is causing the weird taste.  I too threw it away
