Hello Everyone,
Many of you have been very helpful with your feedback, troubleshooting skills, and general reports on things you've seen in the app or browser extension. We decided we want to take that to the next level and start a beta testing program where some of you will have access to builds of our app days-to-weeks before everyone else.
With this we need your help, your feedback, and your investigative skills to help us report and iron out bugs before we send that version out to all savers. This will be a program exclusive to community members and I'm working on finding additional ways to reward those that participate.
If you are interested in learning more about this program and would like to signup, fill out this survey with your community username, Ibotta-associated email address, and your device type (Android, iPhone, or Browser Extension).
Thank you in advance and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the thread below.
To those that signed up, we have 35 out of 112 (so far) that used either community usernames that don't exist, their first name (sometimes can be the username), or put their email in as the username:
I'm not able to add you into the private board for beta testers due to the reason stated above. If you signed up and do not see "Beta Testing in the header next to your avatar, let me know and I can add you manually.
If you do see "Beta Testing" in the header, you've already done everything you need to do and I will post instructions on the first test in there shortly.
Note: I have disabled making new posts in that board until the first test is ready. but you should still be able to access it.
@LaraL How exciting!
Thank you @LaraL! There are some pretty tech-savvy users among this Community.
Agreed! I share a lot of the feedback in here all across the company and it's been noticed.
This should be an interesting venture.
Done. I'm going to ask for printing, landscape, night mode, sorting, notifications, iWatch support, HEB gift cards, PiP, etc. 😬

@Dean Wow, you’ve been busy making a list! 😂 I thought PiP was ‘Picture in Picture’ but had to look it up to be sure. Is that correct, though? If so, how would/should that work with ibotta?
@Xiao Actually it’s multitask split view on an iPad. It’s being able to place two apps side by side. It’s also possible to float one app over another. That’s why it reminds me of PiP.

28 (25%) of the apps on my phone are Beta. Had wondered once or twice why ibotta did not have one available.
I rarely to never use the extension, but my PC browser is Beta as well as the overall operating system on my PC.
@Dean Interesting! I always do my couponing-ish tasks on my phone, so that explains why I never thought of that.
