- Ordering Pickup or Delivery? Uncheck the "Allow Substitutions" option to avoid receiving an ineligible item that doesn't match our free Thanksgiving offers.
- In order to get cash back, you must either link your account to Ibotta and shop with the payment method you have on file OR have a printed receipt to submit after your shopping trip.
- Once you unlock your free Thanksgiving offers, you have seven days to purchase and redeem for cash back. For unlocked offers that display "No Longer Available", you have three days to purchase and redeem for cash back. Don't miss out!
- Don't see your $15 free Turkey Offer in-app immediately? It can take up to two hours AFTER your friend successfully signs up for the offer to appear for you.
- Found a turkey that doesn't scan? Double check that it weighs at least 3 lbs.
Shop in-store
- Add in-app Thanksgiving offers to Your list and complete your shopping trip.
- If your account is properly linked to Ibotta, and you use the credit/debit card that’s also linked, your receipt will be automatically sent to Ibotta. No need to upload your printed receipt. Keep an eye on your email for notification that your cash back is pending.
- If your account is NOT linked to Ibotta, submit a photo of your printed receipt to get your cash back.
Order Pickup or Delivery from home
- Add in-app Thanksgiving offers to Your list under the Pickup & Delivery retailer and complete your online grocery purchase.
- From the retailer page within the Ibotta app, tap “Check out”.
- Earn cash back on qualifying purchases within 24 hours.

FAQs
Q: How do I get my free Thanksgiving turkey?
A: If you are an active Ibotta Saver, all you have to do is refer a friend to Ibotta by 11/23/2021. Once they sign up with the app, your $15 turkey offer will automatically unlock after they successfully sign up. Your friend will get the free Turkey Offer as well! The turkey offer will be available within two hours after your friend successfully signs up.
You can also get $10 for every additional friend (limit 19) you refer during our free Thanksgiving promotion. Each friend will need to submit a receipt for you to unlock the $10 referral bonus. Read more about how to refer a friend and unlock your free Turkey Offer.
Q: I want a bigger turkey for my family. Can I get one?
A: You are welcome to purchase a whole turkey (any brand, any size) at a higher price and use the $15 cash back towards the cost. Always check the offer details and scan the barcode in store to ensure the turkey you've chosen qualifies.
Q: How many people does the dinner feed?
A: The products have been selected to feed a family of 5. But check serving sizes to ensure they meet the needs of your family.
Q: I don't have anyone to refer. Can I still get the free turkey?
A: Sorry. Referring a friend is a requirement for this year's campaign. The rest of the free Thanksgiving items are available for you to earn cash back without a referral. Get your fixings while supplies last!
Q: My friend registered on the website or Browser Extension. Do I still get the free turkey?
A: No can do. Any friends you refer need to download the Ibotta mobile app and sign up on a unique device to qualify.
Q: How do I check if the item(s) I've chosen are eligible?
A: If you’re shopping in store you can scan the barcode of the item in the offer details to check that it matches. If you’re shopping online from your computer using our browser extension, the browser extension will highlight products that qualify for cash back right on the page.

Q: My local store does not stock one of the offers. What can I do?
A: Supplies for the Thanksgiving offers are limited and could change at any time during the campaign.
Q: An offer in my app is showing as “No Longer Available”. Can I still redeem it?
A: No, unfortunately due to high demand, that specific offer is either sold out or no longer available. If you were able to add the offer to Your list prior, please review the offer details to verify whether or not it has expired for you. If the offer has not expired, you may still purchase the product and submit the receipt for that cash back.
Q: But your Terms and Conditions state ‘Requires purchase of 10 participating products and Ibotta redemption to get cash back.’
A: That statement refers to what you need to do to get the entire Thanksgiving dinner for free. If you only want a few of the items, that’s totally fine too! Don't worry, you’ll still get cash back on the eligible items that you buy.
Q: I don’t live near a Walmart. Can I still get the offers?
A: These offers are only available at Walmart in-store or via Pickup or Delivery. You can visit Walmart.com to determine if Walmart delivers to your address.
Q: I live in Hawaii / Alaska / Puerto Rico. Can I still get these offers?
A: Yes. However, MSRPs tend to be a little higher in these states so items might not work out as a fully free meal, check item prices before you buy.
Q: I am quarantining / I don’t feel safe going to the store. How do I get the offers?
A: Try Pick Up or Delivery. In the Ibotta app, simply link your account in the Pick Up & Delivery gallery, add the offers to Your list, then select "Shop Online" directly in the app to move forward with your purchase. You can also access the offers in our gallery at Ibotta.com. Log in required. Once you've added your offers, select "Shop Retailer" to move forward with your purchase.
Q: Can I get my Walmart order delivered through Instacart and still get the rewards?
A: No. You must shop directly through Walmart Pick Up & Delivery or in-store. Instacart has an entirely separate gallery of offers available in the Ibotta app and browser extension.
Q: I thought the items were free. Don't I have to pay for them first?
A: Yes. You will not find any items for free in the Ibotta app or on Walmart.com. Ibotta will give you cash back equivalent to the average MSRP for the 10 offers in our free Thanksgiving campaign. Add the items to Your list in the app or web browser extension, then shop to get the cash back. MSRP may vary at different locations.
Example 1: Let's say you choose a turkey that costs LESS THAN Ibotta's $15 free Turkey Offer. That means you'll get to keep the difference.
Example 2: Let's say you choose a turkey that costs MORE THAN Ibotta's $15 free Turkey Offer. That means you'll end up paying the difference.
Q: Do I have to buy all the items to qualify?
A: No. There are 10 individual offers in this campaign for you to browse. Feel free to redeem one, some or all of them. But hurry! There are limited quantities and they will only be available while supplies last!
Q: Do all of the items need to be purchased during the same shopping trip?
A: No. You can redeem any offer during any shopping trip before the campaign ends as long as the offer is still available in-app. Pay close attention to offer expiration dates and availability.
Q: Can I get more than one of each offer?
A: No. Each item is limited to one redemption per Saver.
Q: Help: I waited two hours and still don't see my free Turkey Offer.
A: Try force quitting the app, wait a few minutes, then reopen. If you still don't see the offer, please reach out to Ibotta Care for assistance.
