Teamwork/Teammates will be ending soon

Hello Everyone,

We wanted to give you a heads up that Teamwork bonuses are being removed from the Ibotta app beginning 10/1/21. But don’t fret! We’ve got bigger and better things coming your way and there are still a lot of opportunities to earn more. Just check out the bonuses page and see what’s available.

What does this mean for me? This means that September will be the last month to earn with your team, but you can keep earning more with bonuses!

What about the Teammates I added? We’ve got plenty of other ways for you to stay connected with friends and fellow Savers. Check out our referrals page, or get social in the Ibotta Community!

Thanks for the heads up. I’m glad it’s ending as it caused more confusion than a true benefit. I would still like to see people that I directly referred and their current earning amount. More so to know if they are using the app and for some friendly competition perhaps. 

Excited for what may replace it in the future!

Good riddance.  The care team will have so much more time to focus on real issues.  Most who had teammates thought they were getting benefits they weren't anyway.  30 days and counting.

BRAVO! Easily a million lines of unnecessary code that can be eliminated from the Ibotta programming. Please, please, please don't go back to clogging it up with even more unnecessary code that doesn't actually make the Ibotta app a pleasure to use. Concentrate on fixing the real problems within the app. Just read the Community posts to see what needs fixing. Again, please don't replace the Teammates crap with even more crap. Please! @LaraL

Probably a remnant from ibotta early days when platform was smaller and to drive adoption. No harm done.

Yeah.  You aren't alone.  I think ibotta did their level best to fix teammates, but it never seemed to get back on track
