I cant even link my Walmart account and my Walmart doesn't offer wal mart pay. I completed like 40 offers tonight . I am getting the same error message when trying to submit my receipt. Even though it says the offers are good in store wal mart. Super Frustrating.
I fixed this problem by logging in on my laptop and clicking to add the other Walmart school offers.
This must be a necessary step before they’ll redeem any offer that is on their list. I already had the LaLa offer without adding the others, but it wouldn’t redeem since I hadn’t opted in to all offers apparently. Bad programming.
my Walmart barcode receipt was then accepted as usual.
This is NOT an Ibotta issue. It is Walmart.
My receipt won't scan in the Walmart app.
My understanding is that the TC# and barcode are created locally at the register, then sent to headquarters where it is added to a central database. For some reason, it's not getting there.
There could be a severed connection or their database is down.
I suggest calling 800-WALMART. The more who call, the more attention this will get.
Make sure you put in a trouble ticket as I have done. I submitted a TT and received a reply from a Care Team Member. My issue is still unresolved sometime it takes multiple communications with the Care Team to receive favorable results.
This not the same issue. The offers in the OP were added to the account before submitting the receipt and the error message and non-processing still happened.

Try going to Redeem at the bottom of the homepage. Then select Walmart. There may then be an option to 'Upload a receipt instead'. I don't have Walmart linked to Ibotta and always have to submit receipts and that's what I see under Redeem/Walmart.
