Prepaid Visa GC to Purchase Ibotta GC

I searched the community archives but didn't see an answer to this question: has anyone had success using a prepaid Visa GC to purchase Ibotta GC's?

I specifically did *not* get it to work, lol. 
As with trying to use a credit card, I got an error message that prepaid cards are not accepted for that feature. Regular debit cards only.
