Target Account Unlinked

Just as a heads up for those with a linked Target account: My account somehow unlinked. I was checking for credit from a recent purchase. When I looked to see if I was still linked for in-store purchases, it was not. I had not unlinked my account, so I’m not sure when it happened. Just be aware & check your linked status.

Unless there are reasons why you have to link, those of you may consider staying unlinked and just scanning the receipts.   I have never had any issues doing it this way, and you get the money much sooner.

You may even thank whomever unlinked you.

I considered staying unlinked. Unlike the stories I’ve read about the linking being unreliable, I have (remarkably) never had major issues before with in-store or online.

@Rickibotta  It’s what I got called in school. There were always multiple Marys in my class, and my very Irish last name started with ’O’. Compound that with Cheerio commercials, and I had a nickname that came with a jingle.

Yours is better than mine from early school days.   

I used to get called rikki tikki tavi, and they would do it with the buck-tooth chomp like when imitating a rabbit.

There must have been a TV show in the early-to-mid-70s, or perhaps a teacher who would show something on the reel-to-reel thing at the time.  I was not picked on as much as stinky staples or poopie billy, but it was bad enough
