Walmart and Ibotta

When I first joined Ibotta my rebates from Walmart were almost immediate. Now it takes forever and I have had to contact Ibotta care. Has anyone else had a problem with this issue??

Yes, I recently shopped in Walmart with my linked account. My receipt clearly showed “Alafitta but my account was not credited the $2.50 for this offer.  I submitted a ticket, pictures of portion of Walmart receipt with date and “Alafitta” plus picture of product. It’s a no brainer for the product description to be full name of product but still it took days and a lot of back and forth to get credit. 

When I finally got credit, ibotta claimed that I had added product to my list after purchase. This was untrue.  Instead of recognizing and fixing new glitch in Walmart redemption process, I was blamed for system failure. I just let it slide. 

I have unlinked my Walmart account. I will relink it later.

I’m still waiting on the credit from one transaction. However I did go to my Walmart app and unlink my payment source and then added my card back. My last transaction the credit was in my Ibotta account within 15 minutes. Thanks for the heads up. Worked like a charm.
