Can anyone answer these 3 questions
1. How do app users know when an offer expire?
2. What is the latest time to purchase an item and redeemed?
3. I live in the Central time zone what time zone is the shoppers gallery on?
Product details
Yes product scanned before purchase and when redeemed. Would not credit purchase to account.
This purchase would have completed the following.
I also cleared my Idotta app cache to make sure I had good information. So when did the product expire? Has this ever happen to you.
I contacted the Care Team to see what resolution is provided.
By the time I posted this and went back to Walgreens gallery the countdown ticker is still going.
@OBSHOP so it sounds like it was an error on our end and you should be seeing a response from the Care team (that sorts of everything out) shortly. Let me know when you do just to be sure.
Well, bummer!
My experience is that the "expiration" dates/times listed on the offers are ibotta's PROJECTION about when it will expire.
I ALWAYS double check the offer when I'm in-store to confirm/re-confirm that it's still valid (especially when I know the "clock is ticking) because any offer can expire (or be pulled) at any moment.
However, it's also possible that tomorrow it will repopulate.....
I triple checked this offer and the the ticker is still counting down. If the rebate is not going to be honored the product should be removed from the gallery once the decision is made..
update
I just checked my shopping gallery this product has been granted clemency. Now it expires on 08/17/2021. I'm starting to feel like big worm (Ibotta is playing with my emotions)
If it's still valid in your gallery, have you tried re-submitting the receipt? manually selecting? submitting a ticket?
I tried doing that twice already. I don't want to get accused of trying to submit fraudulent receipts.
The first offer said get back $.75, the second is for $1.00.
It seems to me, you got a better deal, if you can get it through to Ibotta.
@OBSHOP The offer I have is different and doesn’t show a countdown or expire date. I think it replaced the old one today. Also, the expire info on Ibotta.com/rebates has changed even as I’m typing this from August 17 to October 1. I just use that site for reference but I don’t consider it truly accurate.
Would you agree that their is a dilemma here? I can still find this offer, I purchased and redeemed prior to expiration. Redemption was not honored. I have tried to resubmit receipt to no avail. I have placed this matter into the hands of the Care Team. @LaraL can you review this thread, ticket 10165672.
So I know with offer expirations that they can happen in waves. So for these batteries there might be 5 waves that Energizer wants the product to be shown in, each one with an expiration of its own. I believe that's what we're seeing with the screenshots you posted.
@OBSHOP Yes, I agree.
