Kellogg’s Family Rewards Program Update

I’m not sure if anyone here participates in this program, but I just read that they’re updating the KFR program at the beginning of next year. You’ll stop earning points on 12/15/21, and you have until 12/31/21 to spend the points and then they’re gone, (they’re not being transferred). It says they’re switching to tokens. 
Anyway, I’ve got 10,500 points in my account, so I guess it’s time to buy some coupons.

As a side note, I wish the P&G Good Everyday program allowed us to buy coupons with our points since so many people don’t get the P&G laundry coupons

I got the email from KFR, too.  I have over 50,000 points, so I will be busy trying to figure out what to buy.

I also have enough credits to get 6 FREE books.  I am guessing I should get those soon, too.

What kind of items do you use your KFR points for?  Any Suggestions for me?

I usually just buy coupons for cereal or other products, so no real suggestions. When I looked on their site I noticed all the options to purchase gift cards were sold out. The race is on to redeem points!!

I recently redeemed for an Amazon gift card, so I only have 1400 points left. I usually redeem as soon as I have enough points saved up.  I just looked and there were still some good gift cards left: Walmart, Target, Amazon, Lowe's and a few others.

@mmoore01 If you haven't logged on yet, I would do so soon. I'm pretty sure I've heard you mention you shop regularly at Walmart, so stocking up on some gift cards will use up those points easily. And as @kynuna said, it looks like the gift card option is going to deplete quickly.

Got that email too and was already pondering what to spend my roughly 18,000 points on.  i was thinking coupons too but it sounds like I need to go look quick

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.  

I am now down to 180 points!  

I spend most of my points on 5 Lowe's Gift Cards (most everything else was gone).

I did buy coupons for several Kelloggs items (Chhez Its, MorningStar, Cereal, Snacks)

I still have to claim my 6 books, but my wife does the picking on those.

Just a reminder that 12/15/21 (Wednesday) is the last day to use your KFR points.

You may want to print as many Kellogg coupons while you are there.  I have no idea what items from the site will still be available after that date.
