Please help - I cannot access CVS in store offers

I cleared my cache for Ibotta and a couple other apps because my phone was running low on memory. After doing so, the app looks slightly different and I can't find CVS in store offers. I used to be able to access CVS in store from the main page, but now it only takes me to online options.

I've tried everything I can think of (see below pictures). I knew I shouldn't have cleared my cache...

It does the exact same thing if I search for CVS via home page search bar.

CVS also disappeared from my favorites stores under the account tab.

And I have no option to submit a CVS receipt from the redeem tab.

EDIT: I think the problem might be that after clearing my cache, Ibotta suddenly thinks that CVS is not a local store for me. My reasoning is that I searched for a CVS-only offer that I have added to my list, and when I check under offer details, there are no stores shown. Also, when I check the details of another offer that was available pretty much everywhere (including CVS), CVS does not show up in the list of stores. But if this is the problem, I have no idea how to fix it... Suggestions?

Hi @Zombie can you please confirm your app version? You may need to update your app if you are not on 6.148.0 or higher.

To check what app version you have, navigate to your Account and click into "Settings." Towards the bottom of the screen, you will see your version.

Do you know what version of Ibotta you have?  Go to Account, then Settings, then scroll all the way down.

The latest version is 6.148.0

@JenniferN @mmoore01  sigh... I don't even have to check which version, I know it's not current. It's been months since the last time I updated the app. And I can't currently update ANY apps on my phone because when I try, I get a message about not having enough space to update.

My phone is VERY old. I'll be switching to a new phone soon-ish (hopefully within the next 4-6 weeks), but until then, I have to clear the cache for multiple apps several times daily (depending on usage, sometimes multiple times an hour) JUST to keep my phone functioning. I currently only have 145 MB free. I've intentionally avoided clearing the cache for Ibotta until now because I had a feeling it would be a bad idea... ...

 

Genuine question: why would clearing the cache of an outdated version of Ibotta make a store disappear?

Are there any other POSSIBLE workarounds that I could try until then? I've never tried, but can I submit receipts via browser?

Would it help to keep clearing the cache until all the correct retailers show up? Or would that risk making it worse?

Restart my phone with location turned on (does Ibotta look at location data)?

@Zombie in your 1st screenshot I can see that it says in-store. When you tap it, does it look like the below, with online 1st and in-store 2nd? Sometimes I tap too quickly because I'm used to in-store being the first option.

@Nique that's how it used to work before I cleared my cache. Now it just takes me immediately to the 2nd screenshot I posted.

@Lucivet1221 did it happen after clearing your cache? And do you still have an outdated version of the app too?

@Lucivet1221 if you still have your old phone (and have Ibotta installed on it), does it have the same problem?
